The hotel offered clean and homely rooms but being in a motor inn with shared bathrooms was a downside. The service was incredibly welcoming and friendly, adding a personal touch with a snack for my hike. The location was excellent, providing a short walk to the town center and great views. The dining was superb, especially the breakfast, with warm fires and a cozy atmosphere. Overall, a comfortable stay with minor drawbacks.

I had a delightful stay at the hotel, with the convenience of a second bedroom for luggage in the room overlooking the beautiful Lake Wakatipu. The stained carpet and small window were a downside, but the helpful service and scenic views made up for it. The location was perfect for exploring the town, even with a slight uphill walk back. The excellent dining experience was highlighted by the friendly staff and delicious food.
